OUR ARCHITECT

Philip has more than thirty years of architecture experience in coastal Wilmington, North Carolina. Originally from Virginia, he studied at Virginia Tech and completed a Bachelor of Architecture in 1989. He completed a year externship at the prestigious Skidmore, Owings & Merrill architectural firm. He moved to Wilmington, N.C., in 1990, a place he was familiar with from his childhood, to begin working for Cothran Harris Architecture. After working for there for twelve years, he moved to John Sawyer Architects to work as a until starting pghARCHITECURE 10 years later.

Philip is dedicated to creating a guiding and dependable experience to discover your needs and visions and to help express your ideas. The goal is always to create a residential or commercial space that excites you. Philip understands how to positively influence any project experience. He looks forward to bringing your expressions into the world with his creativity, bespoke process, and skills.
